The "Thor Polysonic Synthesizer" app for iPad has MIDI IN capabilities. I make a MIDI track and set the MIDI to my iPad via wireless RTP midi session. Some have told me to then make an audio track and set the AUDIO FROM to "whatever you have your iPad's audio playing into". First of all, what would this be? Do I need to route the audio from my ipad to ableton via a headphone jack into the mic input?
Regardless, I've tried many things and none are working. I'm just looking for anyone who may be familiar with this type of situation. I know there's someone out there who would know exactly how to set this up.
Thanks a lot

Using Propellerhead Thor for iPad w/ Ableton

Yes, you'd need to go from the headphone out on the iPad to your soundcards inputs. You need line inputs not mic inputs, though some cards have mic inputs that are also line inputs, so you'll have to check the documentation for your soundcard to be sure.
