Rewire Reason 7 into Ableton 9

Hello,

I'm using Ableton Live 9 and have just downloaded Reason 7 demo on mac OS Mavericks.

I launch Live and then launch Reason but the Rewire isn't working - the Rewire light is off in Reason and I cannot see Reason from Live's external instruments.

Is there any particular setting to apply in Live to activate Rewire?
Is the rewire not included in the Reason demo?

Has anyone had the same issue?

I've read that some people managed to have it working by removing the rewire folder in library/apps support/propellerhead but it doesn't work for me

Hi Bud

Firstly both DAW'S need to be in either 32bit or 64 bit mode

Once done,launch Live then Reason,you should have Reason rewired, (Live being the master )

Use Lives external instruments,for controlling Reasons instruments etc

I was running Live in 32 and Reason in 64 bits. Now all works fine.

Its a very common mistake to make,I did this a few times,ha,ha
