Hi all,
I've been trying to figure this one out but I can't get it to work.
Here's what I'm trying to do:
I use Ableton to live loop. The way this guy does it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXOosbEREPs
Now I want to record it all on Video, how I create a session from scratch. But I don't know how to record the audio, everything I do on Ableton.
So I need to record everything coming out of my MASTER OUT including the hooked up MIC. Because I'll be singing over the created loop.
Can anyone point me into the right direction? I tried to use the "resampler" feature but that only works when Recording. And I'll be stop recording a bunch of time during a live session.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Record Live Loop Session
hello, try to send master to a new return channel and simply record.. having trouble send from return to a separate audio channel... remember to turn off the record channel or you get a infinite dub delay ^^

If you want to hear and record everything that comes out of your computer, try Soundflower (Mac) or the Windows equivalent.
Just route your outs back into a (muted!)track in Live and record that.

Thanks for reply.
That doesn't work because I have to ARM the track and PUSH record for it. That's impossible while i'm already doing that for my session to begin with.

How about using Sound flower and another audio program just for the recording. Maybe even an old version of Live you have still on your computer?!Ayrthon wrote:Thanks for reply.
