If I want to arm several tracks for recording, I can hold down the control key and arm each track with the mouse. Alternatively, I can turn off the "Exclusive arm" option and arm the tracks with the mouse.
If I try doing the same with Push, arming a track *always* disarms all other tracks. Am I missing something?

Hold Shift + track selection control buttons to arm multiple tracks (viewtopic.php?f=55&t=196560).
And don't forget to turn off arm exclusively.

Shift + track selection buttons does not seem to arm multiple tracks if one of those tracks is already armed.

Tested again and it works as expected here. Actually even when arm exclusively is turned on?! What Live version are you using?

I'm using both 9.0.6 and 9.1b26. And I see the problem: When I'm in Track mode it behaves as expected. It's when I'm in Notes mode that the problem occurs.

I stopped using my Push haha
It isn't anything being Wrong with push necessarily. My issues are two parts psychological, one part functional.
1. When Push is in front of me, I keep habitually turning directly to it for all my actions, even if what I'm bout to do is more tedious on the Push. The overall 'feel' of Push is kind of too rugged for my tastes and the browser is a total buzzkill. Oh, plus my computer is aging gracefully.
2. As for the functional issues I have with it, the arming is Not how I work and intrudes strongly with my way of Perceiving the ability to mess with shit and have fun. Push's arming scheme throws a wrench into every other aspect of arming and performing with other instruments.
Does Push override midi channel-specific inputs? I don't recall. But overall, it has some weird priority issues and arms/unarms in all these ways which, you can learn to expect, but are not intuitive when you use more than just Push.
I'm doing much better now that I've disconnected it.
Maschine is almost fun, if only they'd let you not have predefined pattern lengths
but, I don't see that as actually functioning with the core design of Maschine. I know you can Change pattern length, but one way or another, you have to define it before or after you perform, not during like in Live.

Right now my go-to is my Novation remote keyboard. So magical (except on That one you can't 'lock' to a device..... I haven't tried Roman's script)
