Grooves Missing

After I upgraded from 8 -> 9, I found that the standard Grooves that come with Ableton disappeared. Perhaps I didn't install something correctly, or perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place.

Currently, I click User Library -> Grooves and there is nothing there. What's going on?

Go to your designated "Legacy Folder" that contains your original Ableton 8 Library. (It is the folder called "Live 8 Library".

After clicking on that click on the following order
Ableton 9 > Places > Live 8 Library > Grooves > (Hip Hop, Latin, Logic, MPC, Notator, Other, Percussion, Quantize, Rock, SP1200, Straight, Swing, and User)

Open your groove pool and manually drag your Ableton 8 grooves into the Ableton 9 Groove Pool.

In other words, are you saying the Ableton 9 doesn't include any grooves? Why not?

Can't I just download the grooves from somewhere? I don't have Ableton 8 installed anywhere.

you find the groove folder in PLACES - PACKS - CORE LIBRARY- SWING AND GROOVE!!

silversurfer60, it turns out that you are right!

They were just in a different place than they were in 8. So this works well on the PC version. I'll check to see if they are there on the Mac version as well.
