Push "Duplicate" Feature via MIDI or FS

When using both hands to build up an idea, it would be great to utilize the Push's duplicate button via MIDI or one of Push's external controllers.

Any thoughts on this? I know I can use Bome's or something to listen for keystrokes on the software side and probably script it , but would prefer something more baked in and not have to rely on additional software.

Any solutions out there? Maybe something in Max already?

Yep, with M4L you can grab the "footswitch control" which corresponds to the foot pedal input n°2 (it's not possible to access the sustain pedal) and then do what you want with it.
