where to put my samples MAC

Post by mitchell » Mon Nov 18, 2013 4:55 pm

i just bought a macbook pro and this is my first mac so I'm a bit lost. my question is where do you put your own samples so live recognizes them? i've tried every spot on my hard drive and every time i add the folder to lives folder pane nothing ever shows up, sometimes the wheel will spin sometimes it won't do anything, where on a MAC hard drive are the samples supposed to go? I'm running mavericks and the latest live beta.

thanks for any help!

hmmm its been well over 2 hours now and the wheel is still spinning but i don't see any samples appearing.... is this normal? also every time i close ableton i get a crash message saying there's something wrong with the index. hmmm another thing i found is that i installed 9.0.6 and the files pop right up when i add the folders so its something to do with the beta.. weird.
