I live in California, or as some people refer to it “earthquake country” which means every 30 to 40 years there’s some epic seismic activity and people die. But the vast majority of the time we aren’t getting crushed by falling debris and get to live in the damn awesome state of California.

So maybe every 30 or 40 years there needs to be a similar crushing of the wealthy. Not all of them, but a decent amount. The vast majority of the time they can continue to financially crush the rest of us.

Pros and cons. You get to control the wealth but every so often you could get shanked by the less fortunate.

Ehm, that's not how it works for wealthy industrialist. They use any nations military and government to do their bidding. It's a lot less messy (for them only of course ) and a lot more effective!
