Hi please note I am new to Ableton (I moved from mainstage) so I hope you can write clearly.
I am using looper for live situation which is on Audio bus.
I need to implement one button (whatever in one of my controllers) so it could gently fade out the looper (not master volume, just the looper so I can stop it while playing live easily.
The best would be to fade out the wave that came to the looper so it physically goes down to 0. I cannot just use looper's fader because all my instruments live go through looper to be ready to loop anytime. So it would stop playing everything.
Thank you
A simple fade out button for my Looper

Dummy clips with automation on a utility sounds like an easy way to do it.
>How to dummy clip
Create another audio track
Route the audio from the looper track to this new track and set it to monitor IN
Create an empty audio clip of what ever length you need
Draw in the automation of the volume being lowered on the Utility in the clip envelope
Launch the clip whenever you want it to lower the volume
