Instant Mapping : More than 8 knobs?

hi,

i have edited the "UserConfiguration.txt" , in User Remote script, for have the first 8 knobs on my controller will instantly map to my devices.
But , i have more than 8 knobs on my controller (+ 8 knobs more) but other knobs didn't move.
i try to change the "UserConfiguration.txt" like that:

But nothing happen, only the 8 first knobs move.

If you are talking about the "blue hand" mapping, I don't think you can map more than 8. Not %100 sure, but I think it's the case. There are m4l patches that allow for automapping 16 controllers, but when I tried them a year or so back they caused all kinds of freakouts in my session. Maybe that was just me though and my ancient macbook!

The most direct way is to midi-assign a button to the title bar of each plugin. I use a nanokey just for switching between effects and racks. You can also just use your left and right arrow keys once you are in a track to move between effects in the same track.

Look up 'selected track control' for Live. It is a premade python script (goes into a different directory than 'user remote scripts'.

It has all the features of user ones, plus more. It has a list of which cc's/notes are implemented for each feature.
