Important: Changes to Community Guidelines
Please see the latest revision of the Community Guidelines, and note that religion and politics are now outside of the scope of The Lounge. As such, we do not expect any further posts on these topics here. Any existing or new post which discusses either topic will be either deleted or locked, at the discretion of the moderators.

Re: Important: Changes to Community Guidelines
With the flanking of Funkens political posts we will see a rise in tutorials on how to go through a convoluted process using 3rd party software to do something simple like launching an app depending on the average color of your desktop wallpaper. Things may not look so bright.

Well, the mods can always broaden the guidelines even more
How about prohibiting all discussion of tutorials? And electronic music software. That way we should be safe.

Good call.
Add tutorials and polls to the list and this place will be in top form.

I'm curious to see how economics discussions will be received in future...

I think it's a good thing. Thank you Ableton!
It's Ableton's forum. Ableton make Live. I come here to read and post about Live and related subjects.
There are other web forums covering those type of topics, with members who joined specifically for those topics. We don't need it here.

I would have to respectfully disagree, as, from what I've seen, Marxism seems to have a similar effect on one's brain as Krokodil, an opiate, has on one's muscle tissue.Funk N. Furter wrote:Opium.
