Editor not opening

One of my max devices will not open the max editor. Other devices will, but this one seems to make MaxMSP not respond and I have to force quit. I've tried repairing permissions and trashing the max preferences file and the problem persists. Any other suggestions?

Open max before opening the device to edit…

This keeps happening. Anyone else have this problem? It seems to have every time I change the Max patch and then resave.
