This would make things a lot more interesting and speed up workflow. Just simply dragging an effect onto a scene of choice in session view, and please a wet/dry control to effect the overall amount instead of hoping its in the plugin itself.
In certain situations grouping tracks over complicates things...especially when you only want one tiny part to change. Imagine having an effect on a scene and and automating the wet/dry knob rather than making a whole group/bus or not automating your master track.
