Hey guys, just a quick question:
Do any of you know how to achieve a "deliberate clipping" sound? Deliberate clipping is the best phrase I can use to sum it up, although I realise there's probably a formal term for it that I'm missing! Anyway, the sound I'm talking about is a kind of slight buzzing, primarily seems to feature on kicks and bass instruments. For an example of what I mean:
