Problem Connecting Push

I have just bought push and already downloaded everything. I am running on Abelton Standard.
Everytime i connect abelton push it says "Please start live to play" but the problem is that my live is on. I know it is connected because i can use the push to make the noise selected on abelton. None of the led's turn on while connected to the computer but none of the other buttons work. Someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Try going into the MIDI Preferences in Live and make sure that everything is configured properly in the upper 'Control Surfaces' section. Especially that Push is one of the rows.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem, and yes, Push is recognized as a control surface. PLEASE HELP.

contact support. I had this problem and they sent me a series of steps to go through to perform a fresh install of Live. This doesn't involve or affect your libraries in any way so it was pretty painless.
