Launchpad user 1 LED feedback issue

Hi, i followed several tutorials to get a led feedback in user 1 mode. i follow every exact step. but no led will show. any ideas?

I'm still in trial mode (as my financial instance has technical issues). Could it be that it's disabled in trial mode?

make shure the "track" button for the launchpad (in midi preferences) is active...

it is active. still dotn see the led feedback. linking the samples is not an issue. it' the visual feedback that isn't working.

in the drum rack i can see that the buttons are working ok. but the leds wont pop up.

i found the issue? apparently in Ableton Live 9 you need to select channel 5 instead of channel 1.

Wow. That's actually interesting to me.

I know that it was easy for the LP to jumble up if you forgot to turn Off the LED feedback.

Am I correct in assuming that you can leave it on now without problems?

I was playing around a few days ago myself and also noticed my feedback wasn't working when I tried it. Good tip!

wow, Bart, you saved me with the channel 5 find. was having the same issue. what a weird quirk!
