Maschine Version 2 software upgrade….ughhhhhh…totally HATE the crappy workflow….tried working with it for two months now, hate it more and more and more…...
Too many features cramped into a few knobs and buttons/pads (i use the machine mk2 controller which i had for some time now). I get there faster when using the mouse.
I'm gonna sell this thing…..
Thank God i have Push……..

Had one for about two weeks (I've owned other Moogs and loved them) and couldn't wait to see the back of it. Total buzz kill.
As for regrets of 2013? The TB 303 that I am currently selling. Just didn't do it for me. It does everything it's supposed to and I took the time to figure out how to program it properly, but, I dunno, it just doesn't have that little something that I look for in my gear. I guess I just don't find it that exciting.

Sorry to hear that, I guess I'll put it off on the upgrade.33tetragammon wrote:Maschine Version 2 software upgrade….ughhhhhh…totally HATE the crappy workflow….tried working with it for two months now, hate it more and more and more…...

Not that either are bad purchases just made at the wrong time.
New laptop and really nice JBL Eon 515XT PA. Bought because my band was still going and we were gearing up to play live, then the singer got accepted to medical school. Had I known I would have bought a modular instead, or a Marshall.

That sucks dude. Band members going off (for jobs or girls
)has put paid to a couple of promising projects for me too.

The Korg Volca bass. It was an impulse buy at Guitar Center. It does make a kinda cool 303 bass. But I can get the same results from the Finger Bassline app which is like $4.99.

i bought a used MPC 500...not that it didn't have potential, it just wasn't as easy to learn as i expected it to be.

Been there a few times my self....the human disappointment factor, sometimes is a little harder to absorb, then the actual hardware disappointment. Especially when there was "potential," or "chemistry"....Machinesworking wrote:Not that either are bad purchases just made at the wrong time.

Novation Mininova - no matter how much i tweaked it, it just sounded meh. Not that i am a synth guru or something, but any of my softsynths sounds more lively. Sold it after i shipped it all the way from china to germany.

Sorry to hear that. I love my MoFx delay! Except for the distortion...it's awful. That delay is my one of my favorites!JuanSOLO wrote:Electrix MoFx.
I bought it for the syncable delay that had a momentary button and eqing thinking it would serve some dub style needs.
The delay sounded terrible to me.

Slim phatty was my bad choice, it's now on flea bay, beginning to give up on hardware and work inside the box, however push was the one purchase I am very pleased about. I can come up with things that I wouldn't on a keyboard. Think the virus ti2 is the next one to take the auction bullet, it doesn't sound better that amazing to warrant the high price it commands. The total integration is a nice idea but the reality is flawed beyond belief. The one synth you can toast my tes***les before I will hand it over is the juno106 nothing seems to get close, think it's the dirty chorus!

Novation Impulse 49 keyboard, thought Id treat myself to one for my upcoming Jan ,birthday.
The automap worked fine with Live,no problems
Until I wanted to use it with Reason (as I use rewire) ,Live being my main DAW naturally,he,he
Spent half a day trying to get it working with Reason and its rack extensions,no joy.
Sent it back to the store, got a full refund, and didn't get charged for the courier pickup!! Hows that for great customer service!!
Now I am back to my old and reliable M Audio Oxygen 49 keyboard, plug in and away I go!

Arturia Microbrute. It was a present for my girlfriend and it turned out to be pretty cool and I want it for myself.

Novation Nocturn. I spent a week trying to map the buttons to Live. Automap just would not play nice. It went back to the dealer.
