See above and/or download a live set here

wow!mothergarage wrote:I don't have this plugin (and their homepage doesn't exist?`[edit:ah, back online])
But try to set the output of the audio channel to the input of the vst (sitting on the midi channel).
Edit: Tried and I got it to play the internal piano sound, but it doesn't seem to output midi notes...
Edit2: Okay, got it working.
first of all: thanks for the help
how did you get that "Audio" appear in the MIDI input menu????
I tried your liveset but you used the 64bit version (I use 32) and when I created another midi track there's no Audio option again
I tried to swap your 64 with another instance in 32 bit but doesn't work either .. still showing MidiGuitar64 and there's no way to change it ..
but my first question is: do I have to set up Live so that it shows that Audio thing in the MIDI input menu??
if so, mind sharing how?
gettin closer
thanks again

What I did was:
add an audio track set the input to my audio interface
set monitor to in
add the midiguitar to that track and open it
klick the trial button
under"output" set the instrument to none and make shure midi out is enabled
add a midi track and set its input to the audio track in the first dropdown and to the midi effect in the second drop down menu.
add a vst instrument to the midi track
done - no additional setup required I think

I tried what you did (which is the first thing I did also) but still doesn't work… still no Audio Option available in the MIDI ins.. not even in the session view (which I never use btw) .. as suggested by Tone that the "Audio" option appears only in session view .. again not for me
then I've opened you LiveSet (thanks for that) and strangely doesn't work there either! … at this point might be some setting I have to setup .. but I have no clue what this might be
also I can't hear my guitar on your setup .. lol
at this point I really want to make it work ahahaha

Sweetbutt.
Have you enabled the midi output section of the plugin to "v-midi" ?
You won't see it in your midi track input until you've done this.
