This has been asked about by a couple of us (I'm one) but in a thread is called 'chord progressions' which is not an accurate description of the technical conundrum at hand.
I have made a drum rack with a Chord Midi Effect dropped onto each cell along with an instrument. (In this case Electric.) This means I can dial in my own custom voicings within each cell and then jam along to whatever. So far so good. However, this means dropping an instrument into each chain which means I can't audition different instruments / presets without swapping every instrument on every cell. (Also CPU drain.)
I've seen a workaround which involves using multiple clips in a Session View track, or a chain selector thing where you turn a controller and get different chords but that's not it.
One drum rack, a different chord on each cell all going to one instrument that can be swapped / tweaked on the fly.
Any ideas?
Is one global instrument per instance of drum rack possible?

Thank you! This does look like kind of what I was talking about but there's no sound

Make shure you have midi input note set to "All" in the instrument rack. (And I don't know if you have the simpler I put in it).
And be sure to play the drumrack from C1.
