Browsing Ableton Packs

Post by Airyck » Fri Jan 17, 2014 6:54 pm

Hi,

When I look in places and packs I only see "Core Library". I can see that all of the pack sounds are mixed up in places like, Kicks, Snares, Drum Racks, Instruments, FX categories etc...

Is there a way to browse a specific pack only? So lets say I want only browse the sounds in Digicussion 2 and nothing else, is this possible? When I use other sample libraries that I've copied into my User Library I'm able to browse to it's specific folder structure and look for sounds just in that sample library.

I would never use the main sample browsing facilities like "kick" or "snare" because I'd have to twist the knob 5000 times just to get 1/4 of the way into all of my kick samples and they are not organized. You have everything from velocity layers of acoustic drums to electronic kicks and everything between in no order other than alphabetical.
