Sampler auto-read 'root' note from multisample filenames

Most packs which contain multisamples have consistent file-naming - C1, C2, C3 etc etc...

Wouldn't it be easy to have Sampler auto-detect these strings and automatically change the root note to something other than the default C3? Or at least to have a pop-up dialogue giving the option?

I enjoy building large multisampled instruments but the setting of root notes is a real PITA.
