Installing Live 9.1 from Live 8

Hey guys,

I've read some info about the best way to install Live Suite 9.1 (upgrading from Live 8). Some of it is not so clear.
I'm looking to save as much space as possible. I don't want double copies of the instruments, effects, racks, presets, etc.

Can anyone recommend the best way to do the install?

I just installed Live 9 then deleted Live 8.
MacBook Pro (13", 2.7ghz i7, 16gb, 10.9), Suite 9
