Autechre Stlye beats

Any one know how to do Autechre style beats within Live or with use of other instruments or plugins.

arpeggiator set to free, assign a knob to the speed, send it to any patch in impulse, tweak, resample, cut up, run through a granulator, add random clip envelopes, beat repeat, some heavy compression, resample, repeat.

Iam trying to use the appregiator on IMpule but it only plays the kick Id like it to play the range of impulse so that i can create a beat from the apregiator.

what keys are you pressing? If you press the c you're already using, and then the next d, then it should play the second sound of impulse. If not you should try describing, step by step, how you've set up the arpeggiator.

i decided to take on autechre last year...for a very long time i felt
interested in making frenetic beats like autechre's instead of the
continual thump of the 4to the floor shit i normally make.

so, i tried. i dont think its that great...and some of the phrasing sounds
nothing like autechre...but it gave me something to do for a day.
