Extending a reverse crash

Post by MrOcho » Thu Jan 30, 2014 3:03 am

For a song I'm currently working on, I need a reverse crash for the build up part. However, the reverse crash only lasts about a second and a half before it crashes. I want this to build up and last about 4-5 seconds before it hits (crashes). Similar to how you would hear in a lot of house tracks today where there is a build up for a few seconds and then boom. I was told to warp the sample but every time I do, it changes the way the reverse crash sounds, kind of chops it up and it sounds like crap.

Try changing your warp mode from 'Beats' to 'Re-Pitch' or 'Complex Pro'

Then just drag the far right warp marker more to the right to stretch the sample, easy!
