Help with not using warp markers

Post by Advent57 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 10:40 pm

i have 2 winamps running with pacemaker plugin on 1 of them, instrumental on the first winamp and acapella on the second, i can change pitch and tempo on the pacemaker winamp acapella and get them in sync i try and do this in Ableton and it isnt quite the same. How do i change the tempo of a track without the warping? is it just a matter of stretching the last warp marker ? or does the original bpm of a clip make a difference? I know about the various warp methods but all i want to do is keep the layout of the acapella the same without going through the warp process. I have Live 5 but the auto warp isnt doing it on acapellas

for something totally in time, as in NOT a lazy guitar player - the "warp process" only has to be one marker.
set the 1.1.1 where it needs to be, and zoom to the end, and drag one of the last markers to where it needs to be. dont warp, just drag.
my favorites at the moment: MASSIVE. FM8. LIVE 6. Bome's Pro. KORE.
