Ghost sounds in arrangment view (5.01)

Post by ct43 » Wed Aug 10, 2005 11:19 pm

say if I lay down some clips into arragement view but then decide to move them.. it then plays the audio from the original placement + where ive moved it to! Bizare but true & its doing my head in!

Also say if I launch a clip sometimes it just plays what is coming back from the sends (like reverb) & then the dry sound will start a couple of bars later..

I dont know if its of any consequence, but these things where happening with channels (6 I think) routed to a another 'group' channel with 'Saturator' placed as an effect...

anyone getting the same thing?

Hi ct43,

do you have a Live set that demonstrate any of these issues?
say if I lay down some clips into arragement view but then decide to move them.. it then plays the audio from the original placement + where ive moved it to!
Can you reproduce this? Do you move the clips within their tracks or between tracks? Does it happen with audio, MIDI or both kind of clips?

regards,
Alex
