Looking for samples of a whip

Post by Airbase » Wed Aug 10, 2005 9:01 pm

I really need to find a sample of a good old Indiana Jones style whip. I dont really know where to look, so I'm hoping someone maybe already have a few whip samples to share with me to choose from!

Thanks in advance!

I swear I remember the Korg M1 circa 1990 having a whip as two separate samples (one was the whip, one was the crack). Very Indiana Jones. Maybe google for an emulated sound bank or something.

Use what's around you. I made a great whip sound by using a wet towel against a piece of thick glass. It whipped real nice when I snapped it.

Rent the DVD of "Roots" and sample it; you'll have a large variety!
