Device for Controlling Aftertouch in Ableton Live for Push

Post by 2beats » Thu Feb 13, 2014 7:44 pm

So after months of work I am proud to release my (aq) Aftertouch Devices for Push. They are free download. Check out the video below and download it at: http://www.subaqueousmusic.com/production-articles

These devices will make aftertouch a whole new thing in live letting you control how it works and can even add a delay or other effects.

Very cool! I was just wandering how to achieve this functionality the other day. Especially the delay adresses a problem I had with using aftertouch!
Extra kudos for making this free! 8)

One question though: Does this have the same problem that many M4L devices have, that once you assign a parameter to the device, you lose the ability to manipulate it any other way?!

Yes... All Max for Live devices do that. No way I know to get around it. Try it out though and see if you can get what you want out of it.

Well actually now that I think about it you can probably use a multimap M4L device to work around this.
