Tracks in arrangement view cannot be edited & red background

Hi,

After recording some clip triggering in to the arrangement I found some of my tracks were un-editable and that she hovering over them I got a crossed circle. I got around the issue by duplicating the tracks but has anyone seen this before and can tell what is going on?

Switching to Arrangement View after recording into the Arrangement you should notice the Back to Arrangement button at the right boundary of the Scrub Area (below the Bars Ruler). Click this and you're 'back to the arrangement'.

Thats the thing the back to arrangement button is not there, if I trigger other clips while the arrangement is running it appears and I can click it sending me back in to arrangement mode but those tracks are still red

I've looked again and found this:

...only while global record is on and still running. Same with the reddish background of the three tracks in your srceenshot.

Those three are muted btw., but that doesn't seem to make a difference on my system: As soon as I stop global transport the reddish lanes go back to normal and the Do-Not-Enter-Cursor is gone. Only the recorded samples are shaded (i.e. not playing) but accessible (i.e. normal cursor). until I press Back to Arrangement.

No idea what could be keeping yours locked. Maybe you get in touch with support.

yeah I muted them as they still play audio. I have logged a support request.
