I have been having a problem with Push cutting midi notes short for the last several days. The midi display in live shows that the signal is still active but the system is cutting it short.
Here is what is happening.
I have an electric piano on one channel. I can play that instrument alone using the pads on Push and it sounds perfect.
Now, if I start some clips in other channels, in this current instance, two drum racks, when I move back to the electric piano channel with Ableton Push, the notes are very short, pretty much like as if I were just flicking the pads. I can hold the note on a pad, but the note just stops instantly. As soon as I stop the clips, the piano responds normally to playing the pads on Push.
This has happened with many different melodic instruments, synths, pianos, etc.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Currently using Live 9.1.1 and the Beta version 9.1.2b2 and having the same issue in both versions.

Re: Ableton Push Cutting Notes Short
Nothing is causing your device to vibrate, making false triggering of the pads?

Re: Ableton Push Cutting Notes Short
This issue has been solved!
I am so happy.
It was a plugin causing the problem, Toontrack EZ Keys, the native sequencer in the plugin was starting up when a clip would start in Live.
The Toontrack plugin instance had a glitch in it where the sequencer transport was cycling erratically.
This was part of my saved default template on both Live 9 and Live 9 Beta. Once I deleted this instance of the plugin and opened it up again fresh, everything was good.
It was a terrible week when Ableton wouldn't work!
