Rane sixty-two as an audio interface

Post by isoh619 » Tue Feb 18, 2014 5:53 am

Aside from using the bridge in serato which I do not care to use anymore.. My question is: instead of using some of the 2 or 8 channel USB interfaces out on the market with ableton live 9 what is the proper way to set up Ableton live to work with the rane sixty-mixer as an audio interface which has 20 channels. I would also like to use my akai APC40. I'm just confused on how I should connect everything physically.

Here are my devices:
Macbook pro / Akai APC40 / Rane Sixty-two mixer (using as my audio interface) / Ableton live 9

Have a look on the Rane blog for a number of videos of people using the 62 and Ableton, i'm using it with Serato DJ and Ableton and syncing the two together using the new firmware update for the 62...

Having trouble with finding videos on there. I was able to find a forum thread which almost relates.. But I think a video would be helpful. Any chance could you point me in the right direction? or perhaps post a link here? Thanks in advance!
