hey, if you remember the old Handsonic HPD-15, well imagine this thing with newer sounds, sleeker design and USB audio connectivity (acts as its own audio interface)! I just picked one up, but unfortunately the audio input into Live 8.4.1 on OSX 10.8.5 is too weak to use, and can't be adjusted. i tried it with a couple different Macs, and a few different versions of 10.8.x just to be sure. Of course this sounds like typical "driver version 1.0" kinda stuff; but Roland tech support says that the HPD-20 USB audio works just fine with Logic, and that i should check in with the Ableton folks.. hmmm… I don't suppose there are too many of these HPD-20's being used just yet, having just been released a couple months ago, but OK, sending out an S.O.S…
Anybody using one of these? Or any ideas?
thanks much

Roland HPD-20 USB audio, Anybody get this to work?
Re: Roland HPD-20 USB audio, Anybody get this to work?
oh, and forgot to add, If upgrading to Live 9 might fix this, then i might have to do it (otherwise not in a hurry for this upgrade… don't want to break what's already working!)
