Can anyone fill in the blank for me?

Post by Schmidi » Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:05 pm

Hey Push users, I've been reading posts here and watching videos to see if Push might be right for me, but there is one part that I'm not understanding.

Almost all the videos show the camera pointed at Push with someone jamming on the drums and melodics, but almost never show what is happening in Ableton with all of these sequences that they are generating!

What is the outcome of creating 1-x bar drum step sequences? Does it create new clips in ableton? A clip per edit? What about melodic stuff?

no video really shows this, not even the "get started on Push" Ableton vids!

If you start recording, it creates a clip. In note mode, the new clip is however long you record for. Similarly if you record drums on the pad. In step sequence mode, the default clip is two bars long... If you press Double or lengthen the clip, this is mirrored on screen. Duplicate creates a new scene...
