Urgent help needed!!! File sizes are way to big!!

Hi guys.

I'm in need of some pretty urgent help and was wondering if anybody can help me!

I am exporting a track along with the individual stems from Live 9 to give to a friend of mine for remixing.

However, for some reason the track and stems are all exporting way to big, the full track is exporting at 74.3MB, and whats even more confusing is that each individual stem i.e the kick, clap, hats etc are all the same size, 74.3MB??

Basically it means that the full file of stems even when compressed totals over 900MB which is ridiculous!

My export settings are normal, sample rate 44100, bit depth 16 and triangular dither.

I've not had issues with this in the past and can't work out whats happening.

Please could someone shed some light on what the problem might be?

Seems you have no idea what an uncompressed WAV file is.

My guess from your size is your song is about 7 minutes long?

It takes about 10MB per minute of audio in uncompressed WAV format and if you have multiple tracks being exported then yes, they will all be the same length. This is normal.

If you have to send them to someone consider zipping them to make the file size smaller so you can send.

I've previously exported in 16 bar loops, it appears this is why I'm confused!!
