I've been using 9.1.1 Suite since it came out, but it's been crashing a ton, especially when I go to save. Now it won't launch, it just hangs. I've tried re-installing, and that worked once.
I can get 9.1 Standard to launch, but not the Suite version, and now it's asking to authorize, but times out when I connect to the website.
Is there a stable version to use on a Mac running 10.8.5? I've been spending 2-3 hours every time I use Ableton, restarting or waiting it to launch in the first place.
Tips to launch 9.1.1?

I didn't have a phone number at the time I posted that. I ended up speaking to someone in Europe, but I think it was cell to Skype and I kept getting disconnected, but I did figure out a solution.
They got distracted by the fact the my crash reports were 9GB and we didn't get in to any real troubleshooting, but they did point me towards the preferences folder which I moved out of preferences, and when I restarted it was blazingly fast.
There doesn't seem to be any way to get my work back, though I do have the right crash files to work from.
I restored a couple of files in the preferences folder and it's back to normal.
I cleared out more than 120GB of crash related files from the Application Support/Ableton and Preferences/Ableton folders.
The session that crashed is still slow, there are only four tracks with clips which are all from two long audio files that I'm making loops from. Maybe there's just a limit to how big a file you can work with.

I just checked - I have to files that are each around 1GB, but the rest are small.
