Get Push to save and remember keys /scales of clips and sets

The scale should be "saved" with the set.

This feels like more of a bug than a feature to me.

For Live to save the key with the set, they would have to change the whole way clips are stored and handled. (At the moment, clips do not have a 'native' key, and there are probably good reasons for that...).

Clyphx has sorted the problem by allowing you to (1) specify the default scale for Push (2) 'capturing' the current scale of Push within a live set.

Given that changing the way clips are stored and handled potentially has huge implications for the development of the software, I wouldn't bargain on them doing it any time soon.

Download Clyphx (it's free), learn how to use it (it's easy), and don't hold your breath.

I have heard that with 9.5, scale rememberishness is possible even in Push 1

Yes, the last scale you used when saving a set will now be recalled with you reload that set.

Making it set specific is the way to go. If you find yourself switching keys then you Should mostly investigate just switching to chromatic... Mostly
