Changes to zoom in arrangement window

The one big beef I have with live 9 is the lack of ability to easily zoom in and out in the arrangement page. This is much much easier in other daws (e.g. Logic) to be able to not only zoom out, but also decrease the size of each track. It becomes very hard to view everything in your track once your project builds up to 50+ tracks. Also, keyboard shortcuts to help with this would be a major plus. I find that I'm constantly zooming in and out of projects with my mouse, and have to scroll up and down the screen to find things in the tracklisting. Logic makes it much easier to see everything in your project on one screen.

I used a free third party program called "BetterTouchTool"

It's really easy to use.

I programmed it so that when I held down option and scrolled up on the trackpad (Like Logic Pro's zoom) it would type the keystroke "shift =" (which is+). I also programmed it so that holding option and scrolling down typed the keystroke "-".

There is another program (not free but totally awesome) called "keyboard maestro". I have programmed this so that I can show/hide the detail with a single key instead of the three key chain "command option L". Also various other workflow enhancing macros.

Please note- these programs are EASY to use. It's a total no brainer. No tutorial. Bang. Done.

+1 million. Every other DAW has this down well, and it's something I use constantly when I have to work in Studio One or Logic. Really does save loads of time.
