Controlling Spark Audio Unit With Push
Controlling Spark Audio Unit With Push
Hey everybody, total newbie, trying to figure out if I can load Arturia´s Spark drum machine and use Push as a sequencer the same way I can sequence with Ableton´s drum machines.
I guess I could probably map out sound by sound if I load a drum rack but that´ll take forever and won't allow me to switch Spark´s banks all together.
I´m hoping there´s something I don't know about like a bridge or something? don't know really, first time working with audio units and vst´s.
thnx

Hi benbts
If it's Spark VDM (VST) you're referring to then we offer what you're asking for at www.craftedsound.com (part of our Arturia V Collection integration pack). The 30 or so presets are configured to drum racks so they can be browsed from Push's screen and the 16 sounds can be played, tweaked, step sequenced etc from Push. For the Spark VST that doesn't come as part of the V collection, we haven't got round to that yet...

hey man, awesome!! thnx for answering
yeah I just purchased the V collection and have been experimenting with Spark and love all you can do with it.
so basically it´s an integration pack? to be able to control through Push. it doesn't come with the synths as well right?

I don't know man, it looks kind of sketchy. saw your posts in other forums and can't find anyone else to back it.

Well excuse me sir, but it aint 'sketchy'I don't know man, it looks kind of sketchy. saw your posts in other forums and can't find anyone else to back it.
Nah, it is what it says on the site...a collection of 11,400 configured racks covering the presets for the V collection. Best thing to do is download the free Zebra or Zebralette packs from our site and try them out (follow the installation instructions there). If you don't have these synths just get the Zebralette free from the U-He site. There are demo vids showing how they work (incl Spark VDM) and plenty of people have got them from us and are using them. But if it's only Spark VDM you want to use from Push (ie not the rest of the V collection) just rack the presets yourself to drum racks - there are only 30 or so of them I think and it should only take you an hour. It's only worth getting our packs if you haven't got time to do all 11,400.
By the way, if you want the same thing for Komplete 9, check out Audiomodder. And Jester Mgee has done racks for Omnisphere (free or donation).
All the best
