Push - Map Mode - Wont Map

I am in user mode but Ableton wont map to anything... Is this a Mavericks issue?

did you enable the push user mode in your midi preferences ?
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.

Is it possible just to free some encoders ?
I need the Session-View like it works but
the encoders could do a nice job if i could map them free.
