How do you turn off track automation on the master fader?

I'm using novation impulse keyboard and automap, I've already asked this and I was told to right click over master fader and select delete automation, nothing happens but I'm using a mac with ableton 9 which I didn't state last time, can anyone help please

From my own tests, track automation can't be turned off on the master fader regardless of the preference settings or the track state if "Automation Arm" is turned on. To delete all automation that has already been recorded to the master track you right-click on the track name (in Arrangement view) and choose "Clear All Envelopes". You can also selectively remove portions of the automation as well using the other choices.

If I right click nothing happeneds. It's really doing my head in, I'm trying to play a tune and it just starts moving the master fader on it's own.

Do you mean highlight master and click lock envelopes in options?

In Arrangement View the Master track will be at the very bottom on the right. Right-Click the name "Master" and select "Clear All Envelopes".

Cheers, if I right click the master in arraignment view it just turns blue

If I press control then mouse click it now gives me the options, sory used pc's for years just getting used to mac. However the option to clear envelopes is grayed out
