I love how this matters to some people—like they're really so fragile that unless they have their own goddamn emoji then raciss. Of course, by playing this game, Apple has committed itself to also producing midget emojis, eskimo emojis, ginger emoji, lesbians ginger midget eskimo emojis and so forth.

If this is what comes of having a homosexual CEO, then I can see why they are so rare.

That said, I was at the supermarket yesterday where I saw a black dude wearing an authentic colonial explorer's hat. Now there's a dude who deserves to be made into an emoji!

Wait, I confirmed with my grandfather that caucasians are white and asians are yellow. So how about Apple give us some emoticons that are actually caucasian before they proudly start working on ones that aren’t.

I had no fucking clue whatsoever that a yellow faced smiley face is Caucasian. Seriously, who knew? I'm looking forward to the day when I get to quit being bashed for the color of my skin too. I haven't killed anyone or agreed to have them killed with blades, bullets, missiles, or robot flying machines. I don't collect welfare, or taxes, or trophy wives or animals. I have not committed a "hate crime". I work for a living. I pay taxes. I'm paying back my student loan.

And, as a side note... Is it even possible to commit a hate crime against a heterosexual Caucasian or was that angle completely left out of the formulation of that form of legal categorization?

If Apple really wanted to innovate they would just let people upload their own emoticons to a standard available keyboard, including animated emoticons, AND devices that aren’t iOS would be able to receive and view them by default.

My new car payment is going to seriously eat into my new Apple product slush fund. My roommate suggested this might lead to me actually using all the crap I’ve been stockpiling over the years. Pffft. What an asshole. Is it even possible to compose today’s music using Logic Pro X and Komplete Ultimate 9 on a 3-year-old 27” iMac???
