Hello
Ok, this happens with some WAV files, when I preview in the Live browser or drag the WAV to a clip in a audio track, it "pulses" like a trilling sound. If I load the same exact sample to winamp or the simpler, it plays perfect. It is not my WAV files.
To get a bettter idea, think of a steady tone WAV file that plays a C3 ... it would sound like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH nice and smooth. But if I preview that sample in the live browser or drag it to a audio clip it plays back WAHWAHWAHWAHWAHWAH and is totally messed up.
Take that same sample and throw it into the simpler, and it plays perfect.
I have tried the ASIO and the DirectX and have tried any latencies ranging from 5ms up to 100ms and it's always the same.
I have digged through these forums and see nothing about this, and this is really driving me nuts as this problem occurs to approximately 30% of my WAV's.

Ok I hope I am not showing my newbieishness, but indeed I am a newbie.
Ok, the sounds that mess up are embedded at 109.09 bpm and I almost always use the standard 120 bpm for what I do. When I change the global tempo down to 109.09, the artifacts disappear.
I guess I thought that the software would do all of the stuff under the hood to sync everything so these artifacts wouldn't show up. Why do clips with different tempos flutter like this?
Now my question becomes, if I use samples that are embedded at 109.09 bpm, and I want my song to remain 120 bpm, Whats a guy to do to avoid the flutters? Again I would think that Live would be able to "fix" itself using differing tempos vis a vis WAV's and such. I hope there is a solution to this.
Thanks again!

Are your clips properly warped at their 109.9 BPM, means are the markers on each beat or somewhere else?
