Kill switch for audio effects
Kill switch for audio effects
Hey,
Quick question. Is it possible to map a kill switch to the effects? At times I have multiple effects on at once and it would be nice to turn them all off with one button. Let me know if possible.
Thanks,

Put a utility at the end of the effects chain, and hit/automate the little mute button at the top left

Re: Kill switch for audio effects
put all the effects in a rack and map the on/off button to a macro.
Re: Kill switch for audio effects
yeah, my suggestion sucked. effects rack + on/off switch is the way to go

What do you do with the saved CPU cycles?

Will this reset the parameters once turned back on? I'm really looking for something to do a complete reset once a button has been clicked.Emanresu0891 wrote:put all the effects in a rack and map the on/off button to a macro.

Not too poor to own Push and a new Mac Mini.
But thanks for all the extra CPU cycles. I am thinking of using them to compensate for plugin delays.
At Tom, is't it a hassle to map every effect in this way?
There should actually be a bypass effects button on every track in Live.
