Push Issue

I am trying to do something similar to the beginning of this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l36UYf4riI0

Problem is whenever I try there is a lag before it starts again. I want it to run on a smooth loop.

I have tried clipping the lags but, it still sounds off.

Any Help?

He most likely has the metronome routed to headphones only... or has a visual metronome.
