Hi Flange,

your complete beginners incompetence aside :lol: , did you find a solution to this?
I have just hooked up my old gear, Macbook Pro, MOTU midi interface, Kenton converter and old Roland SBX10 sync box. Both the Kenton and the Roland have the same sync issues as the one I think you described. They start in sync, but after a while they wonder off.

If I understand all, the sync delay and such are there to compensate latency. But to be clear, this is not the problem here. It's the wondering off.

I find Live and Midi to be very inconsistent. I generally have to offset my hardware by -32ms for it to be in sync. But even then when I go to record (freeze) a Midi track it can be way off the grid. I'd personally like to see better handling of Midi in the next version, especially as Ableton themselves are making videos showing how (easy) it works with external gear.
