Hello together,
yesterday i tried reproduce the following intro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1gAQHIkPhw - especially the high pitched break with the "dada"-like sound. The break is from this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jiqxkdh ... lpage#t=94 (1:36 - its only 2-3 seconds).
I can use the sample at 174BPM without problems, but i dont know how to "pitch" up the small vocal part, it still sounds pretty low. Is this a Filter/EQ "effect" or what am i missing?
Thank you in advance!
Greetings

"Pitching" this sample - what am i doing wrong?
Re: "Pitching" this sample - what am i doing wrong?
If your using 'Beats' Warp mode, you need to transpose the clip up 6 semitomes (right next to the warp mode).
Re: "Pitching" this sample - what am i doing wrong?
Thank you for your response. I will try that at home.
Can you tell my how you know the exact number of semitones i have to transpose it?

cause I just did it... I went to your 2 youtube videos, listened to the first one... recorded the second straight into live at that time you gave, made a 1 bar loop... Set my tempo to the tempo you said...
At first I had warp mode on 're-pitch', clicked back to the first vid and heard the the pitch was off at that tempo, so I switch the warp mode to beats (or any warp mod besides re-pitch)... and started turning up the transpose till the pitch matched.
