Hey,
I was just wondering, but are there any Blender users here? I've been using it for a while, and I love it.

I haven't used blender in ages.
Looks like it's come a long way.
Maya all the way for me.

Yeah I do a lot of animation in Blender. I like that you can use python scripts. I also like that it's free :D

Yeah the free part is what got my attention.
You have any animation online?

I used to, but I switched to a food processor a few decades ago when they were all the rage. Switched over to juicers after seeing a Joe Montana infomercial, but that was just a fad. Every now and then, I'll break out the 'ol vintage Waring if I want to impress the chicks with one of my signature Pomegranate-Canteloupe & Cuervo smoothies, and....oh, wait...........no, I prefer Maya.

I have my eye on blender, i absolutely love the open projects they do!!!

Back when i was choosing 3d software, blender didn't have n-gon support so i went with modo 3d. but i am in love with blender as a software/initiative.

i'll probably learn it for fun to tinker around with physics and character animation if they release some good training videos... but intill then... i just monitor their progress and admire from afar.

Every Blender point release I convince myself to download and install, followed by the inevitable crashing around in it for half an hour, followed by the inevitable uninstall.

I just find it too foreign to what I'm used to; Maya, SI, Zbrush, Mudbox.

One day Blender, one day...

Are you running a Windows machine? Try Blender Portable from PortableApps. Painless deinstallation, no registry tweaks, just delete the folder.
