Then I think the best one can do is to dedicate a clip to ClyphX in session view that you can hit on startup to manually re-initialize. (I sometimes dedicate a whole track to different Push startup options in different clip colors)... If the ClyphX clip is enabled (even if the transport is stopped) when you save/exit, it might even save the state (not sure about this, though).

You can have a clyphx script in your template that records the Push scale. When you trigger it again it will set push to the desired scale.

Writing the scale into clip names works best for me, specially if you use more than one scale per project,
