Hi, the best and coolest thing in live would be a pure automation track into the session view with an new multitrack automation editor view.
For exemple when a different audio clips is playing, the coolest thing would be to get the possibility to run a automation clip which control every parameters of every tracks.
That could be edited by a NEW third view called automation editor which look likes the arrangement view but which contains a multi track editor of the different automations parameters of a single automation clip.
Like this:
Automation Clip 03:
Volume> ______^------_____
Pan>______^---______^------_____
FX parameter 1>____________^----___________^------_____
FX parameter 5>______^------______^------_________
That would make Abelton Live as the perfect Live session software for every kind of performances.
Because for the moment, we must create a virtual midi input and output to make this, and are limited to midi assignations, with a single view of midi envelopes for every parameters...
