Map Macros to clip Midi to control synth with no midi output

Hi. I have a Korga Volca Bass . I'd like to control the automation for slide time, etc via a macro (using Push). Although the Volca allows you to control most things, you have to do slide through midi automation.

In addition, there is no MIDI out on the Volca, so you can't detect / automap, etc.

if I create an external instrument, is there a way to group this and then control midi channels via a macro - i.e. map Midi 5 (Portmento) to a macro and then control via Push?

I don't have Max for Live - not sure if this supports this, but it's not an option.

I want to know this too - I've read it is possible. I can map macro to other external synths using the synths midi into ableton but volcas don't have midi out.

I have an idea - if it works I'll post it here!
